This is a beautiful pair of 1980s Swedish black sconces.
The base is white painted metal the triangular front side is a mix of glass elements and black painted metal. They are very beautiful and elegant as a design object but when the light is on they are truly spectacular. The glass elements, inserted between the metal parts, have parallel lines cut in the in the thickness of the glass. Due to the effect of refraction when the light hits those cuts they light up. This clever design these 1980s Swedish black sconces has obvious 1930's art deco influences. The sconces are in good vintage condition. Each sconce has one E27 bulb socket. The bulbs are not included. They are both tested and fully functional for worldwide use (110V or 220V).
